ABOUT THE WORKSHOP The land and light of New Mexico, which have drawn poets, artists, painters, and photographers for more than a century, will be our focus for the week. You will walk the enchanted land photographing a unique environment in an atmosphere of adventure and discovery. The instructor has explored and photographed New Mexico for several years and will share his favorite places with you. You will explore the diverse culture, architecture, and landscape of northern New Mexico, learning how to capture its power and beauty with your camera. While based in Santa Fe, you will travel to locations within easy reach, where you will receive one-on-one field instruction in on technical and aesthetic issues. You will also participate in class sessions, in which your fellow students will share feedback on your digital images and discuss many aspects of the medium. Topics included in this workshop: WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Whether you are pointing your camera at a magnificent rock formation or capturing the dynamic weather that is common here, you'll spend time challenging yourself and improving your image-making abilities.
