Jay Packer

Jay Packer and Craig Varjabedian share an interest in large format photography. They met because Jay bought the “widowmaker,” a large heavy tripod. He found Craig’s business card taped to it, and recognized the name as the photographer of pictures he had seen and admired. While visiting Santa Fe , he dropped by Craig’s studio and they have been friends ever since. Dr. Packer photographs landscapes using his 12 x 20 large format camera, focusing on the Western scene, when he is not at his medical practice in California.
