“I learned more in two days with Craig than I did with an eminent Australian landscape photographer in two weeks.
I had two days of personal one-on-one with Craig touring sites in the Santa Fe area wanting to learn about handling the harsh light, picking up location and composition tips. With Craig taking images alongside me and pointing out the small, but very important changes, to compositions and camera settings, I absorbed huge amounts of information almost by osmosis.
His laid back style was perfect and he clearly gets huge enjoyment helping others to improve. It was a joyful experience and I can understand why so many international clients keep coming back to this fantastic place to learn from one of the most generous teachers. Like those others, I shall return.

We have been offering our Private Photo Guiding Field Sessions to photographers from around the world since we opened our doors in 1986.
A Private Photo Guiding Field Session with award-winning photographer Craig Varjabedian might just be the ultimate photography field experience. Our Private Photo Guiding Field Session will allow you to work alongside a seasoned photographer intimately familiar with the region to photograph prime locations throughout the Southwest. From famous vistas of Ghost Ranch to more intimate locations around Santa Fe, Craig can help you make incredible images and get the most out of your Southwest photographic experience. While in the field Craig will help you with questions regarding composition, lighting, exposure and much more.
